honors Bro. Q. Soldier Williams’s legacy by empowering students committed to making a difference in their communities through public policy and administration.

This $3,000 scholarship is designed to support future public policy and administration leaders, empowering them to drive meaningful change in their communities.

This scholarship will support future policymakers, public administrators, and community advocates in their academic and professional journeys.

Applicants for the Q. Soldier Williams Memorial Scholarship will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

Eligibility Requirements

College graduates or graduate students enrolled in an accredited Public Policy or Public
Administration program in Connecticut.

Submit a personal essay in the application package:

Outlines the applicant’s passion for public policy or public administration.
Highlights career goals and aspirations.
Explain how the scholarship will support their academic and professional development.
Provide a current resume.
Submit academic transcripts (undergraduate or graduate).
Provide two letters of recommendation from academic or professional references.
Submit proof of enrollment or admission to a Public Policy or Public Administration graduate program.
Minimum GPA requirement 3.0
