Black History Oratorical Fest Competition

The BSL Educational Foundation Inc., Black History Oratorical Fest Competition is designed to give Greater Hartford students an opportunity to shine through public speaking. Students recite original essays, poems, or skits, that relate to the theme of Black History.  Additionally, all participants will receive a participation BSL t-shirt and BSL book bag for qualifying to compete in the final competition.Each group (middle and high school) will have scholarship opportunities ranging from $250.00 – $550.00 in book scholarships.1st, 2nd, and 3rd place individual and group winners from each division are selected by a panel of judges, and will receive book scholarship.
