MLK Young People’s Oratorical Contest 2024

The BSL Educational Foundation Inc., Bro. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Young People’s Oratorical Contest is designed to allow Greater Hartford students to shine through public speaking. Participants are encouraged to recite original essays, poems, or skits related to our 2024 theme: Change will not come if we wait. Each group (middle and high school) will have scholarship opportunities ranging from $150.00 – $1,000.00. (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place) a panel of judges selects a winner from each division to receive such book scholarships.
