Go-to-High School, Go-to-College
Dear High School Principals and Guidance Counselors,
The BSL Educational Foundation Inc. is interested in community leadership, not only for today but also for tomorrow. In a very few years, the students in your school will be assuming some of your community’s leadership roles; we know that you are training them for the task.
The BSL Educational Foundation Inc. and Hartford Youth Scholars would like to help. The event itself, described below, and its associated materials and food, are FREE!
We invite your students to participate in our annual “Go-to-High-School, Go-to-College” Annual College Readiness Conference at the University of Saint Joseph. The “Go-to-High-School, Go-to-College” program, established in 1922, concentrates on the importance of completing secondary and collegiate education as a road to advancement. Statistics prove the value of this extra impetus in making a difference in the success of young people, given that school completion is the single best predictor of future economic success. Through the “Go-to-High-School, Go-to-College” education initiative, young men and women will receive information and learn strategies that facilitate success.
