Go-to-High School, Go-to-College
Dear High School Principals and Guidance Counselors,
The BSL Educational Foundation Inc. is interested in community leadership, not only for today but also for tomorrow. In a very few years, the students in your school will be assuming some of your community’s leadership roles; we know that you are training them for the task.
The BSL Educational Foundation Inc. would like to help. The event, described below, and its associated materials and food are FREE!
We invite your students to participate in our annual “Go-to-High-School, Go-to-College” Annual College Readiness Conference. The “Go-to-High-School, Go-to-College” program, established in 1922, concentrates on the importance of completing secondary and collegiate education as a road to advancement. Statistics prove the value of this extra impetus in making a difference in the success of young people, given that school completion is the single best predictor of future economic success. Through the “Go-to-High-School, Go-to-College” education initiative, young men and women will receive information and learn strategies that facilitate success.
Please select students from your school who would best benefit from this unique and robust experience. Please remember that this program allows students to develop leadership skills and acquire the characteristics, attributes, and attitudes needed for success in the workplace and higher education. Once you have selected the students from your school whom you feel best meet this profile, please encourage them to fill out the application form: http://www.bsleducation.org/programs/go-to-high-school-go-to-college/
